Meta One: What the New AI Changes Mean for Real Estate
If you use Facebook or Instagram to generate real estate leads, there is an important change you need to understand.
Meta is putting more artificial intelligence into the way businesses create, manage, and deliver content and advertising.
One of the newest developments is Meta One, which Meta announced on September 15, 2026. Meta One is a new subscription service for individuals, creators, and businesses across Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Meta AI. It gives businesses access to additional professional tools, AI features, analytics, publishing tools, and more access to Meta Business Agent.
But Meta One is only one part of the story.
The bigger change for advertisers is that Meta’s advertising system is becoming increasingly AI-driven. Meta is using AI to better understand what people engage with and to decide which ads are more relevant to different users.
For real estate agents, that can change how you approach lead generation.
What Is Meta One?
Meta One is a new paid subscription service from Meta.
Meta says it launched with more than 50 features across its apps and Meta AI. The business plans are designed to help companies manage their presence, reach customers, create content, understand their audience, and use AI tools more extensively.
Some of the business features include:
- Enhanced business profiles
- More access to Meta Business Agent
- Advanced publishing tools
- Scheduling for some content
- Links in organic posts and Reels
- Exportable analytics
- Deeper audience insights
- Team access without sharing passwords
- More tools for customer communication
Meta’s business plans start at $14.99 per month for Essential, with higher plans starting at $49.99, $149, and $499 per month. Meta notes that features, pricing, and availability can vary by region, app, and account.
For a real estate business, some of these tools could be useful for managing social media, understanding what content is working, and responding to customers.
However, there is an important distinction:
Meta One is not a new Meta Ads campaign type or a replacement for Ads Manager.
It is a subscription that adds more professional and AI-powered tools.
The changes happening inside Meta’s advertising system are a separate development.
The Bigger Change: Meta Ads Are Becoming More AI-Driven
Meta has been using AI in advertising for years, but it is continuing to increase how much AI does inside the advertising system.
One of the systems behind this is called Andromeda.
Meta introduced Andromeda in 2024 as an AI-powered ad retrieval system. Its job is to take a very large number of possible ads and narrow them down to ads that may be relevant to a particular person. Meta says its system can process tens of millions of ad candidates before later ranking systems decide which ads should ultimately be shown.
Meta has continued developing this system.
In January 2026, Meta said it had doubled the computing power used to train its latest ads-ranking model, called the Generative Ads Recommendation Model, or GEM.
The goal is to help Meta better understand what people naturally engage with on Facebook and Instagram and use those signals when deciding which ads to show them.
Meta also said it had introduced a newer sequence-learning approach that allows its systems to learn from longer sequences of user behavior and additional organic engagement data on Instagram.
In simple terms:
Meta is getting better at learning from what people do.
And that matters for advertisers.
What Does This Mean for Real Estate?
Let’s say you are a real estate agent trying to find homeowners who may sell their property.
In the past, you might have spent a lot of time trying to define the perfect audience.
You might think:
“I want homeowners in this area, in this age group, who are interested in real estate.”
You can still use audience controls, location targeting, budgets, and other campaign settings.
But Meta’s system now has more ability to use its own signals to help determine which people are likely to respond to an ad.
For example, a person may never tell Facebook that they are planning to sell their house.
But they may be watching property videos, interacting with housing content, looking at local market information, or engaging with an advertisement about home values.
Those actions can provide signals to Meta’s system.
This is why the role of the advertiser is changing.
You are not simply telling Meta:
“Find these exact people.”
You are also giving Meta:
“Here is what I want to offer, here are several ways to communicate it, and here is the result I want.”
Then Meta’s systems use available signals to help with delivery.
